Co jest w magazynie?

Kupujecie jeszcze jakieś magazyny wnętrzarskie?

Byłam wczoraj w sklepie i zaczęłam przeglądać kilka moich ulubionych magazynów, ale wyszłam nie kupując żadnego. Mam wrażenie, że wszystko już widziałam :( Prezentowane zdjęcia najpiękniejszych wnętrz widziałam już na blogach, a pomysły na DIY na Pinterest. Czy tak jest tylko w angielskich i irlandzkich numerach, czy w polskich również? Dawno nie czytałam polskich wydań, więc nie wiem :) 

Po raz pierwszy spostrzegłam, że niektóre magazyny przestały być oryginalne w listopadzie ubiegłego roku, gdy podczas popołudniowej kawy rozsiadłam się wygodnie z nowo zakupionym świątecznym numerem mojego ulubionego pisma. Jakie było moje zdziwienie, gdy zauważyłam, że większość tych samych zdjęć widziałam już rok wcześniej! Pożałowałam wtedy wydanych kilku euro i postanowiłam solennie nie kupować już świątecznych wydań. Okazuje się jednak, że nie tylko specjalne numery mają z tym problem.

Częściowo rozumiem, co się dzieje. Ciężko zachować oryginalność, gdy niemalże wszystko można zobaczyć i przeczytać w internecie. Zresztą internet odbiera magazynom czytelników. Czy wiedzieliście, że im więcej surfujecie po sieci, tym mniej czytacie? Stąd wszędzie obecne zdjęcia i krótkie, przykuwające oczy artykuły. Widzę po sobie, że gdy zainteresuje mnie jakiś post, czytam go tylko pobieżnie i przeskakuję szybko do kolejnego tematu. Wy też tak robicie?

Do you still buy interior magazines? I went to shop yesterday wanting to buy few, but I left with nothing. I had felling I saw all the photos presented in them before: all the gorgeous rooms on blogs and DIY ideas on Pinterest. Is that a problem only in English and Irish magazines, or Polish ones too? I didn't buy Polish numbers in a while, so i really dunno.

I've spotted that problem for the first time few months ago, in November. I've noticed then that in my newly bought Christmas issue of my fav magazine, were photos I've seen a year earlier...in the same magazine! I felt like I didn't spent wisely that few Euro and promised myself not to buy again a Christmas issue. But yesterday in the shop I've noticed not only Christmas issues have the trouble with inspiration...

I partly understand what is happening. It's hard to be original when we can see and read everything on internet these days. Isn't internet pulling readers away from magazines? Did you know the more you surf on web the less you read? Did you ever wonder why internet is loaded with photos and easy to spot headlines with short articles underneath? Yep, you are right - it's because we tend to read less. I'm the same, every time I spot an interesting article I just jump from section to section trying to read the most interesting parts of it and I surf along to the other article/blog. Are you the same?
